Ab Initio Developer

, Unix shell scripting
, and SQL knowledge.

Please find the below roles and responsibilities which are performed on a day-to-day basis to support RADAR and QFC applications
:

• Work with clients every day to gather requirements, discuss changes, and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and other application teams to resolve integration issues.
• Support team members by sharing business knowledge and providing initial application knowledge transfer (KT) as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within SLA timelines and provide triage for high-priority outages.
• Support migrations, patches, and upgrades by coordinating with IE, DBA, Network, and related teams.
• Build data integration packages (graphs, plans, DBC files) using Ab Initio, Unix shell scripting, and SQL.
• Analyze business requirements, evaluate specifications, and develop technical solutions for new and existing systems.
• Identify defects, propose process improvements, and support system enhancements through modeling, simulations, and analysis.
• Validate program logic by preparing test data, performing system testing, and supporting production deployments.
• Manage production activities including installs, schedules, and job monitoring using CA7 and Autosys.
• Assist offshore teams by explaining complex business logic and ensuring proper understanding of system functionalities.
