Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial services organization, is looking for a Technical Initiative Manager to lead enterprise-level technology initiatives and ensure successful project delivery across multiple business verticals.

Position Summary

The Technical Initiative Manager will act as a subject matter expert, providing leadership in the development and delivery of applications and services across deposits, payments, and fraud. This role is critical for coordinating across teams to ensure alignment, technical standards compliance, and delivery success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex technical projects, deep financial services expertise, and strong communication skills.

  • Expertise in delivery and project management
  • Technical capabilities such as setting up SFTP, SSOs, firewalls, and vendor integrations
  • Familiarity with tools like Splunk, JIRA, and Confluence
What the responsibilities are of the right candidate
  • Develop and drive technical strategy for IT projects based on objectives and business requirements
  • Create architecture and detailed design documentation
  • Manage technical resources and ensure effective utilization
  • Coordinate with Ally Architecture team to meet architectural standards
  • Plan and manage release schedules and defect triage
  • Act as a system integrator managing multiple agile teams and vendors
  • Ensure technology infrastructure readiness and successful application transition to sustain
  • Identify and mitigate project risks/issues and provide visibility to stakeholders
  • Negotiate and build consensus with various stakeholder groups
Preferred Experience s
  • TCP/IP, SFTP, Splunk, JIRA, Confluence
  • Development, mobile capabilities, integration services
  • Enterprise-class solutions experience
