This team is working with the greater organization as a whole to create an extremely secure "data center within a data center" to be utilized in the event that their current set up is attacked and deemed unusable. Right now, all information is housed in two data centers for redundancy in the event of failure. This group is working with information deemed "critical" to create a third location for this critical information.
The idea is that the networks are configured and fully operational, but are not "turned on" until deemed necessary. This team has cyberresiliency specialists and other SMEs in house (i.e. SMEs in reporting, monitoring, backup platforms, systems engineering, network engineering, etc.) as the goal is that they are a fully functional unit to complete this project from end to end with minimal external support.
Goal is hyper-security and being able to operate critical infrastructure in an attack.
This role serves as a senior security engineer working closely with a lead audit specialist to drive security and compliance initiatives across the organization. This person will create high-level security frameworks and plans for the environment infrastructure. The resource must be well‑versed in technical concepts and capable of collaborating with technical teams to ensure proper security principals and controls are implemented.
Responsibilities include engaging with application owners, assessing configurations and access, reviewing screenshots, logs, and documentation to identify compliance issues, and recommending remediation strategies. A strong background in threat remediation, risk and security posture assessments, and vulnerability analysis is essential, as the role also touches on functions such as SOC monitoring, threat hunting, malware analysis, incident response, penetration testing support, and vulnerability management in partnership with engineering and SME teams.
