** IT Asset Manager
** manages the lifecycle of IT assets across the organization, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, optimizing asset utilization, and supporting cost-effective procurement strategies. You will develop and implement asset management policies, maintain accurate inventory records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
** Core Responsibilities
*** Maintain asset lifecycle standards, policies, and controls.
* Manage end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware and software assets globally.
* Ensure compliance with standards, metrics, and licensing requirements through reporting and monitoring.
* Maintain accurate inventory in Xylem’s IT Asset Management systems and ensure data integrity.
* Oversee software licensing to avoid over subscription and reduce under utilization.
* Conduct regular audits, analyze results, remediate findings, and report outcomes.
** Required Qualifications
** Education* Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Information Technology or a related field.

Experience
* Minimum of 4 years of hands-on IT Asset Management experience.
* 6–8+ years of professional experience in IT Infrastructure.

Technical Expertise
* Proficiency with SNOW/Flexera IT asset management platforms and Service Now CMDB architecture and processes.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure for licensing, entitlements, and inventory management.
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Proven ability to build strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
* Expertise in budgeting, inventory control, and cost management.
* Highly adaptable to evolving business and technology landscapes.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
* Skilled in research and problem-solving for product and service-related issues.
* Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
* Ability to prioritize and deliver results in fast-paced environments.

Certifications:

* Asset Management certification from an accredited organization (IBSMA, SIIA, IAITAM, or BSA).
