Job Overview
Job Title: Pega – Lead System Architect
Rate: Upto $80/hr on Vendor W2
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: 401 North Tryon Street Charlotte NC 28202 (3 days onsite and 2 days remote)
Interview process: 1 or 2 round of technical interviews.
Hybrid schedule: a minimum of 3 days per week on site at 401 North Tryon Street Charlotte NC 28202
This role is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of a cars deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple stakeholders/teams. The ideal candidate would be someone who can collaborate easily and effectively with a large set of stakeholders, has the required hands-on technical skills to help mentor the team, and ability to come up with innovative solutions. This role ensures delivery of the car meets the business expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost.

B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech/BSC/MSC/BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization) - Certifications:
Should be PEGA CSSA or CLSA Certified - Experience Range: 8 – 12 yrs
- 8 to 12 years of experience.
- Should have experience in managing small teams end to end (planning, refinement, execution, release, support).
- Hands on experience in design, development, coding, testing and debugging skills in PEGA 8.x.
- Proficient in Pega PRPC – ECS and Case Management design for large scale Objects and User based Applications.
- Experience in Case Type, Process Flows, Activities, Data transforms, Harness, Sections, Decision Rules, Reporting, Security Rules etc.
- Experience in web based (REST) integration components in Pega PRPC – Connect-REST, Service-REST.
- Experience in backend jobs – Agent, Job Scheduler, Queue Processor.
- Understanding of PEGA guardrails and best practices.
- Experience in enhancing applications currently active in production.
- Ability to monitor logs to ensure health of PRPC applications, monitor and leverage PRPC tools to diagnose and analyze functional and performance issues.
- Good experience in trouble shooting Pega applications logs.
- Must have experience on debugging and root cause analysis of production issues.
- Should have CSSA/CLSA certification.
- Experience in Case Management, Client Life cycle Management(CLM) – will be a plus.
- Experience in adopting Pega applications with CICD tools – will be a plus.
- Knowledgeable in Performance Tuning and Deployment process.
- Knowledge of IT standards, methodologies, system development life cycle and project management frameworks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and technical skills.
- Ability to lead a team as well as work independently.
- Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies.
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Conduct research into software-related issues and products.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Financial Service background or experience preferred.
- Experience with Pega Constellation.
- Experience on debugging and root cause analysis of production issues
- Knowledgeable in Performance Tuning and Deployment process
- Experience in managing small teams end to end across multiple geographical locations
- Overview of the work being done:
Participate in daily scrum and refinement calls and help PO and BAs to finalize story refinement. - Attend all required calls with different stakeholders during onshore hours and update offshore team accordingly on daily basis.
- Actively participate in technical design and lead the team to finalize all major design decisions with the approval from COE.
- Hands on contribution in any complicated POC or functionality if required.
- Work closely with offshore lead and ensure all team members have adequate work, scope is properly clarified and no impediments.
- Review code for all major deliverables and provide regular update to team members.
- Debug any PROD issue raised by end user during onshore hours and provide necessary support/resolution.
