Work Schedule:

Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need.

The Opportunity

The Sr. Analyst Advanced Business Analytics - Marketing will play a critical role in driving Ally’s database marketing strategy and execution. This position partners closely with marketing and technology teams to build and validate targeted audiences, lead the migration of campaigns to a modern coding environment and translate data into actionable insights. The analyst will identify opportunities to improve code quality, streamline process and optimize campaign performance to deliver meaningful business impact.

The Work Itself

• Participate in the strategic planning process of developing targeted multi-channel campaigns (acquisition, customer nurture, engagement) within a new SAS environment.
• Lead the execution and project management of targeted marketing campaigns using detailed customer data, legal and regulatory requirements, statistical models, and business objectives.
• Act as a liaison between business partners and technical teams, translating business needs into clear, executable requirements and technical specifications.
• Oversee automated campaigns to ensure operational efficiency, accuracy and performance.
• Develop updated documentation for campaign execution process while recommending process improvements.
• Conduct detail-oriented team audits of all deliverables to ensure 100% accuracy of campaign data.
• Support ongoing acquisition and engagement campaigns to drive customer growth and retention.

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent

• Experience in Marketing
• Strong technical experience leveraging relational databases via programs SAS EG, SAS Viya, SQL Server Management Studio, Snowflake
• Experience in campaign management
• Experience in data analytics
• Experience in financial services
• Experience with system migrations and/or platform integrations
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data quality and campaign accuracy
