IT Program Management Principal
As an IT Program Management Principal here at Honeywell, you will oversee and drive the successful execution of IT programs within the Aerospace Technologies sector, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and delivering high-quality results.
You will report directly to our Director IT, and you will work out of our Phoenix or Charlotte locations, on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of IT initiatives, support cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance operational performance and drive business growth. You will support the successful delivery of enterprise technology initiatives supporting the Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) value stream. This role will drive standardization, optimization, and automation of S2P processes—including Sourcing, Procurement, and Accounts Payable—as part of a multi‑year SAP S/4
HANA implementation within Honeywell Aerospace Technologies.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT programs, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define program objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Monitor program progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Support the integration of SAP S/4
HANA with the broader SAP ecosystem, including:- Strategic Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Collaboration.
- Secure, compliant cloud operations supporting regulated A&D workloads.
- Drive global process standardization and harmonization across regions and business units to enable scalable, repeatable S2P operations.
- Proven experience in IT program management, demonstrating the ability to lead complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Expertise in utilizing project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Jira to track progress and manage resources.
- Experience in managing cross‑functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
- Proven experience leading large‑scale ERP or S/4
HANA transformations, preferably within S2P. - Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8 or more years of experience in IT program or project management.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on delivering results.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and frameworks is desirable.
- Six Sigma Greenbelt/Blackbelt certification.
