Agile Scrum Master
Location:
Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid). Duration: 12 Months.

We are seeking an Agile Scrum Master responsible for optimizing the flow of work and value delivered by a Scrum team. This individual will coordinate and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, manage dependencies, and provide visibility into team delivery plans and progress. The role focuses on enabling continuous improvement and ensuring a productive relationship between the Product Owner and the development team.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the team maintains a healthy product and Sprint backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner.
- Guide and coach the team on Scrum practices, facilitating ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos, and Retrospectives.
- In a Scaled Agile model, facilitate scaled planning for the team and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums or ART Syncs.
- Assist the team in defining and enforcing agreements like a Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
- Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and the removal of impediments for the team.
- Promote communication and collaboration within the Agile team to support value delivery and Sprint commitments.
- Provide visibility into the team's delivery plans and progress to stakeholders.
- Measure team delivery, maturity, and performance, reviewing metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities.
- Experience driving a shared service mindset, fostering transparency, performance metrics, and accountability.
- Solid understanding of SDLC processes, including both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Ability to facilitate cross-functional discussions with developers, QA, architects, and Product Owners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strengths in analytical thinking, attention to detail, team leadership, problem‑solving, and coaching team members.
- Hands‑on experience operating in a high‑agility CI/CD environment and supporting continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira.
- SAFe, CSM, PSM, or related Agile certifications.
- Experience as an Agile Coach.
This position requires participation in a hybrid work schedule, with a minimum of three days per week onsite.
Compensation & BenefitsA compensation range of $65.00/hr to $73.94/hr is offered for this position.
