Data Analyst - Technology Consulting – Data & Analytics (Data Architecture & Engineering)
Location:
Charlotte, NC. Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40‑45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
- Understand business challenges and address remediations through data architecture and engineering solutions.
- Work with clients to transform the way they use and manage data by architecting modern data platforms, data products, and data marketplaces to improve the data supply chain and risk control.
- Define data and analytic strategies by performing assessments, recommending remediation strategies, and designing future‑state solutions.
- Manage and coach diverse teams of professionals, ensuring project task and timeline accountability.
- Propose and drive new technologies to enhance or replace existing business processes.
- Initiate and build thought leadership through white papers, proof of concepts, and point of views.
- Engage and influence large teams and functional leaders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Analytics or a related field and 5 years of progressive post‑baccalaureate related work experience, or a Master’s degree with 4 years of work experience.
- 3 years of combined experience in banking, capital markets, insurance, or wealth and asset management.
- 3 years of experience assisting clients with Data Architecture and Engineering, Cloud Data Modernization, Data Products, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Big Data initiatives, or Event‑driven Architecture.
- 3 years of experience with traditional data‑architecture practices such as Master Data Management, Operational Data Analytics, Customer Data Hub, or Data Warehousing.
- 3 years of experience with next‑generation platforms including AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or distributed databases.
- 3 years of experience architecting and designing large data platforms, data warehouses, streaming applications, ingestion pipelines, storage patterns, or integration pipelines.
- 3 years of combined experience in at least one of the following technology categories:
- Traditional RDBMS (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Postgre
SQL) - MPP (Redshift, Synapse, Teradata, Vertica, Netezza)
- No
SQL (Mongo
DB, Dynamo
DB, Cassandra, Neo4J, Elasticsearch) - Streaming Platform and Applications (Spark Streaming, Kafka, Confluent, Storm)
- Dev Ops (Git Hub, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform)
- Data Modeling (Data Vault, Star, Snowflake, Canonical)
- Requires domestic and regional travel up to 60%.
