Technology Architect - ATM Platforms

10 is currently seeking a Technology Architect - ATM Platforms for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This candidate will provide enterprise level leadership for ATM platforms, defining the long term channel strategy, target state architecture, and multi-year roadmaps aligned to business growth and customer experience goals. They will guide the modernization of ATM ecosystems, balancing legacy platform stability with innovation while ensuring resilience, security, and regulatory compliance. This position acts as a trusted advisor to senior technology and business leaders, driving standardization, vendor strategy, and investment decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide enterprise level leadership for ATM platforms
• Define long term ATM channel strategy, target state architecture, and multi year roadmaps aligned to business growth, cost optimization, risk management, and customer experience goals
• Guide modernization of ATM ecosystems—balancing legacy platform stability with innovation—while ensuring resilience, security, and regulatory compliance
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior technology and business leaders, driving standardization, vendor strategy, and investment decisions that enhance availability, scalability, and operational efficiency across the ATM fleet

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in technology architecture and solution design, including 3+ years of hands-on software engineering
• Proven ability to operate at SVP/executive level, influencing technology strategy and standards across large organizations
• Strong communication skills with both technical and executive audiences
• Strong background in platform architecture, solution design, and hybrid (on-prem and cloud) deployments
• Proficiency with containers, Kubernetes/Open Shift, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and mentoring capabilities

Desired skills:

• Git Hub CoPilot experience
