Job OverviewSenior Database Administrator (DBA) – 10+ years of Oracle 19c+ administration, 3+ years MS SQL and Postgre
SQL. The role maintains a scalable, fault‑tolerant database infrastructure for a growing customer base and provides 24/7 on‑call support.
- Database Administration & Support
: install, maintain, and troubleshoot RHEL/OEL OS hosting Oracle databases in physical and virtualized environments; provide DBA services to development, professional services, and support teams; design databases, validate queries, tune performance; troubleshoot alerts, logs, jobs, disk groups, table spaces; automate tasks and develop scripts to improve efficiency. - Infrastructure & Security
: lead design and implementation of database infrastructure solutions; implement technical controls to enforce security policies; ensure compliance with SOC2/ISO
27001 audits and adhere to all audited controls. - Backup & Disaster Recovery
: design, implement, and maintain DR methodologies; document and periodically validate Oracle 19c backup/recovery operations using RMAN; maintain disaster recovery plans for each supported system. - Technical Leadership & Mentorship
: research, evaluate, design, test, and recommend new database software versions and related tools; mentor junior DBAs; assist development teams in improving database design and PL/SQL best practices. - On‑Call & Availability
: provide 24/7 on‑call rotational support, including occasional weekend coverage; familiarity with monitoring tools such as Data Dog, Solarwinds, site
24/7, or OEM.
- 10+ years of Oracle 19c+ administration experience.
- 3+ years of experience with MSSQL 2012+ and Postgre
SQL. - Hands‑on experience with Solarwinds as a monitoring tool.
- Strong expertise in PL/SQL coding, debugging, and query optimization.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and bash scripting.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud, Azure SQL, and Power Shell scripting.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure design, security best practices, and compliance.
- Experience with high‑availability database solutions (clustering, replication, failover strategies).
- Excellent problem‑solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
- Salary range: 99,000.00 to USD per year.
- Potential bonus for non‑sales roles.
- Commission target included for sales roles.
