Senior Application Engineer – Overview

Salary Range: $140, a year

• Independently analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production incidents, including performance issues, data discrepancies, and system failures.
• Perform deep root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and document findings with corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with L1/L2 support teams to guide issue triage, escalation, and resolution.
• Act as a strong hands‑on .NET developer, capable of debugging application code, identifying defects, and implementing fixes.
• Analyze application logs, stack traces, memory dumps, and thread dumps to diagnose issues.
• Develop and deploy code fixes, patches, and enhancements with minimal production impact.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, secure coding practices, and performance best practices.
• Write and analyze complex Oracle SQL queries to investigate data issues, validate business logic, and troubleshoot production defects.
• Perform data analysis and reconciliation to resolve data integrity and processing issues.
• Identify and tune inefficient SQL queries and database interactions impacting application performance.
• Work closely with DBAs on indexing strategies, execution plans, and database‑related incidents.
