About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to support the Payments Transformation Payment Services team within the Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) Product & Platform organization. This role focuses on advancing core payment capabilities and driving modernization across payment platforms to support scalability, resiliency, and alignment with industry standards.
This role is responsible for supporting end-to-end product delivery across Payment Services as part of a team building and enhancing strategic payment platforms. The position translates Payments Transformation objectives into actionable plans and measurable outcomes, ensuring product priorities, dependencies, and delivery milestones are aligned across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Delivery teams. Operating within a complex, matrixed environment, the Lead Product Manager partners closely with product and delivery leadership to drive platform enhancements, manage dependencies, surface risks, and sustain momentum against strategic transformation goals.
Success requires strong product ownership, delivery discipline, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while contributing to scalable, forward-looking platform capabilities.
In this role, you will:
* Support end-to-end product delivery across Payment Services, contributing to roadmap planning, prioritization, and sequencing of platform enhancements and capabilities
* Translate Payments Transformation objectives and product priorities into actionable plans, aligning initiatives, releases, and work streams to strategic platform outcomes
* Partner with Product and Technology teams to support the design, build, and delivery of scalable platform enhancements across payment capabilities
* Monitor delivery progress and product health, proactively identifying risks, bottlenecks, and constraints impacting platform build and release execution
* Coordinate cross-functional delivery across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and external partners to enable integrated, end-to-end platform capability delivery
* Participate in planning and delivery forums (e.g., PI planning, release planning, execution reviews) to drive alignment, readiness, and accountability for platform initiatives
* Communicate product and delivery status, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders and leadership, with focus on platform roadmap progress
* Manage dependencies and execution risks, escalating issues and supporting trade-off decisions aligned to product and platform outcomes
* Contribute to continuous improvement of product and delivery practices, strengthening governance, planning discipline, and ways of working across platform delivery efforts
Required Qualifications:
* 5+ years of Product Management, product owner, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

* Experience supporting payments transformation initiatives within large, complex organizations.
* Strong understanding of end‑to‑end payments life cycles, platforms, and messaging flows.
