Forward Deployment Engineer - Hybrid

10 is currently seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in the Bay Area, CA, Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX. This is a 6 month contract opportunity.

We are looking for a technical resource to embed directly with Enterprise AI teams and business partners, translating real-world requirements into production-grade AI solutions. This role owns the full delivery lifecycle, from rapid prototyping alongside stakeholders to deploying, integrating, and hardening solutions within the environment, acting as the technical bridge between the platform and its users.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Quantitative Analytics
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Quantitative Analytics challenges
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel
• Sit with stakeholders to scope problems and iterate quickly on solutions
• Translate between technical and business audiences

Requirements:

• 6-10 years of experience in a technical role
• 5 years of Quantitative Analytics experience, or equivalent
• Applied AI/ML & GenAI experience: building with LLMs, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and agentic frameworks
• Understanding of API & systems integration to connect AI solutions to enterprise systems, data sources, and existing services
• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD
• Data engineering basics: SQL, data pipelines, and working with structured/unstructured data
• Customer-facing and consultative skills
• Comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and getting from idea to a working demo
• Strong communication skills
• Awareness of security and compliance for building responsibly within a regulated financial-services environment

Desired skills:

• Previous experience in the financial services industry

Pay range: $71.88 - $79.88 per hour
