What You’ll Do
  • Lead engineering in enterprise core network and cloud networking environments across on‑premises and cloud platforms.
  • Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure network and traffic management solutions that support enterprise applications and services.
  • Engineer and support core routing and switching infrastructure.
  • Engineer and support cloud networking architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Engineer and support F5 BIG‑IP technologies (LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM, APM preferred).
  • Engineer and support hybrid cloud and data center interconnectivity solutions.
  • Serve as the senior technical lead for core network, cloud connectivity, and application delivery infrastructure initiatives.
  • Partner closely with network engineering, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, application teams, and vendors to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Provide expert‑level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex production incidents and performance issues.
  • Automate operational tasks and infrastructure workflows using scripting and infrastructure‑as‑code methodologies where applicable.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic improvements that enhance reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on resiliency, automation, observability, and service optimization.
  • Mentor operational engineers and provide technical leadership across cross‑functional teams.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects from design through implementation and operational transition.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience with deep expertise in core networking, cloud networking, application delivery infrastructure, hybrid cloud connectivity, and enterprise backbone architectures.
  • Hands‑on experience with F5 BIG‑IP platforms (LTM required, GTM/DNS preferred) and F5 certifications preferred.
  • Experience with AppViewX and enterprise load balancer management platforms.
  • Experience with Prisma SASE technologies and cloud networking platforms such as Alkira is considered a strong advantage.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes ingress controllers, container networking, and modern application connectivity architectures.
  • Working knowledge of network monitoring, telemetry, and observability platforms.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise or financial services environments preferred.
  • Advanced expertise in enterprise routing and switching technologies.
  • Strong cloud networking experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Deep expertise with F5 BIG‑IP platforms, including LTM and GTM/DNS.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, SSL/TLS, routing, and switching technologies.
  • Knowledge of high‑availability, resiliency, and disaster‑recovery network architectures.
  • Knowledge of network segmentation, security frameworks, and enterprise security best practices.
  • Experience designing and supporting hybrid connectivity architectures including VPN, AWS Direct Connect, Azure Express Route, and cloud interconnect technologies.
  • Proof of designing, implementing, and supporting highly available enterprise network infrastructures at scale.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting tools such as Ansible, Python, Terraform, and REST APIs.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical issues in high‑pressure environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively partnering with technical and business teams.
  • Strong project delivery, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Results‑oriented mindset with ownership, accountability, and urgency.
Compensation & Benefits

For positions based in Jersey City, NJ, the base salary range is $99,000–$143,000. The position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the applicable incentive plan. AIG offers a comprehensive benefits
