Our client, a leading organization in the technology and financial services sector, is seeking dedicated and skilled Datacenter Project Managers to join their dynamic team. As a Datacenter Project Manager, you will be an integral part of the Data Center Modernization & Simplification (DCMS) program, supporting innovative cloud migration and infrastructure transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, adaptability, and a proactive approach to project execution, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
Job Title: Datacenter Project Managers
Location: Charlotte, Minneapolis, Arizona, Dallas, St Louis, NJ
Pay Range: 65-70/hr W2
Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months, opt to extend
Schedule: Hybrid 3x on site per week, 2 WFH
What's the Job?- Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive delivery plans for cloud migration work streams and data center modernization projects.
- Coordinate across multiple work streams, ensuring milestones and dependencies are met efficiently.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and resources, driving velocity and cultural change within the organization.
- Communicate technical and strategic updates effectively to both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, friction reduction, and business transformation across programs.
- Extensive experience in business transformation, modernization, and simplification initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage in complex, matrixed environments and influence through influence rather than authority.
- Expertise in agile and iterative delivery methodologies, with proficiency in tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Deep technical knowledge in areas such as cloud migration, data center build-out, app modernization, and enterprise technologies.
- Strong strategic problem-solving skills and experience translating technical concepts into clear communication for diverse audiences.
