Position: Sr. Technical Project Manager/ Scrum Master

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Sr. Technical Project Manager/ Scrum Master to join their team. As a Sr. Technical Project Manager/ Scrum Master, you will be part of the Consumer Lending Operations Technology Department supporting Data & Reporting Technology teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, proactive initiative, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Technical Project Manager/ Scrum Master

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

What's the Job?
  • Facilitate the Scrum process for cross‑functional teams involved in complex projects, ensuring adherence to Agile and Scrum practices.
  • Coordinate end‑to‑end delivery activities, including planning, execution, testing, validation, and deployment, to ensure timely releases.
  • Track delivery metrics such as velocity, predictability, and cycle time, and use insights to improve team performance and delivery outcomes.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and impediments proactively, escalating issues early to prevent delays.
  • Partner with product owners and stakeholders to refine features, prioritize backlog items, and align scope with capacity and release timelines.
What's Needed?
  • 4+ years of Agile Scrum Master experience, demonstrated through work experience, training, or education.
  • Hands‑on experience with Jira and Confluence, including backlog management, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting end‑to‑end delivery, including planning, execution, release coordination, and post‑release validation.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), release management, and governance requirements.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and servant leadership skills, with the ability to operate effectively in fast‑paced environments.
