Our client, a leading IT Services firm, is currently seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer, for a Full-Time onsite opening.

Salary Range: $85k to $100k (Negotiable - Depending on Experience)

Job Description:
Application Support & Troubleshooting – Provide Level 2/3 support for production and UAT environments, ensuring system stability, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
Application Testing & Validation – Conduct functional and regression testing, validating fixes and enhancements before deployment to production.
Linux/Unix Administration – Perform system monitoring, log analysis, and troubleshooting in Linux/Unix environments, ensuring optimal application performance.
Shell Scripting & Automation – Develop and maintain Shell scripts to automate routine tasks, enhance system efficiency, and improve support processes.
Database Management (Sybase/Oracle) – Manage database-related issues, execute queries, and optimize performance using Sybase or Oracle databases.
SQL & PL/SQL Development – Write and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts to support data extraction, reporting, and issue resolution.
Auto Sys Job Scheduling – Manage and monitor Auto Sys job schedules, troubleshoot job failures, and ensure smooth batch processing.
Collaboration & Documentation – Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless application support. Maintain documentation for incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
