We are seeking a QE – Validation & Recovery Test Lead to drive end-to-end recovery testing and validation for a highly secure, air-gapped Cyber Vault environment. This role is critical to ensuring the organization can demonstrate auditable, repeatable recovery capabilities across enterprise systems in support of active audit findings.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute end-to-end recovery validation strategies across data, applications, and infrastructure
- Design and validate disaster recovery (DR) processes and recovery plans
, including site recovery scenarios - Partner with DR, infrastructure, and security teams to execute recovery test cycles and validation exercises
- Validate effectiveness of security controls, monitoring, and logging during recovery events
- Produce audit-ready documentation and test evidence for internal and third-party audits
- Support validation of data isolation and secure recovery processes in coordination with engineering teams
- 7+ years of experience in DR/DRR testing, QE validation, or recovery validation roles
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end recovery testing across complex enterprise environments
- Strong background in disaster recovery processes, DR plan design, and site recovery validation
- Experience working with internal and third-party audits
, including producing defensible test artifacts - Proven ability to work cross-functionally with DR teams, security, and infrastructure stakeholders
- Experience in regulated, audited, or compliance-driven environments
- Exposure to cyber resilience or recovery programs
- Familiarity with air-gapped environments, zero trust architecture, or data isolation concepts
- Experience working in environments utilizing one-way data transfer/security controls (e.g., data diodes)
- Successful execution of repeatable, end-to-end recovery tests
- Delivery of audit-acceptable recovery validation evidence
- Demonstrated ability to validate full recovery capability across systems and environments
This role supports a critical initiative to design and harden a Disaster Recovery & Resilience (DRR) Cyber Vault
, a highly secure environment designed to store and recover sensitive customer and enterprise data.
- The Cyber Vault is a standalone, air-gapped environment with tightly controlled access points and strict security enforcement
- Built as a high-security, high-compliance recovery zone with heavy emphasis on tracking, monitoring, and auditability
- Designed toward a zero trust architecture with controlled, one-way data movement and strong isolation principles
- Security controls and their validation are central to the design and testing approach
- The environment requires clear understanding of where controls exist, why they exist, and how to validate them through testing
