Senior Snowflake Administrator

Experience: 8+ years IT experience, 4+ years Snowflake Administration

• Administer and support enterprise Snowflake environments.
• Manage security, access controls, RBAC, SSO, masking, and governance policies.
• Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, workloads, and costs.
• Implement and support Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and Data Sharing.
• Automate deployments using CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, replication, and platform reliability.
• Partner with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Security teams to support business initiatives.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide operational support.
• Evaluate and support AI/ML and generative AI use cases within Snowflake, including Cortex AI features where applicable.

• Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake Administration and Architecture.
• Expertise in SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with Terraform, Dev Ops, and automation.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• 1–2 years of experience working with Snowflake Cortex AI, AI‑powered data services, or related AI capabilities.
• Programming experience in Python for automation, scripting, and data platform support.

• Experience with Data Governance tools (Collibra, Alation, Ataccama).
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, Kafka, dbt, or modern data platforms.
• Exposure to AI/ML and advanced analytics workloads on Snowflake.
• Experience with Power BI tools and reporting platforms.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, connectivity, and cloud network configurations.
