10 is currently seeking a Kafka / IBM MQ Administrator for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ, Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This individual will be part of a messaging team supporting Kafka, IIS, and IBM MQ initiatives. The role involves helping to design, troubleshoot, and build Kafka and MQ SSL/TLS configurations, as well as participating in test and production environment support.

Responsibilities:

• Support Kafka, IIS, and IBM MQ initiatives and support activities
• Design, troubleshoot, and build Kafka and MQ SSL/TLS configurations
• Take part in test and production environment support

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in IBM MQ
• 3+ years of experience in Confluent Kafka
• Experience with IBM MQ IIS & Confluent Kafka Administration
• Knowledge of installation, configuration, and upgrading of Confluent Kafka & IBM MQ
• MQ clustering experience
• Experience with observability tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana) for messaging platforms
• MQ SSL/TLS certificate experience
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite

Desired skills:

• Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry

Pay range: $58.31 - $66.31 per hour
