Location: Charlotte, NC (Tuesdays and Wednesdays on site)
Duration: 18 months
Must Haves:
3–10 years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on Angular.
Proven experience partnering closely with UX/design teams and translating designs (Figma, wireframes, prototypes) into production-ready UI.
Strong proficiency in Type Script, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
Solid understanding of UX principles, usability, accessibility, and interaction patterns.
Experience building intuitive, user-centered interfaces that align with design intent and product goals.
Hands-on experience working in codebases, Git repositories, and modern development workflows.
Ability to bridge design and engineering—owning the implementation of UX from concept to production.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across UX, product, and engineering teams.
Adaptable mindset with the ability to evolve alongside UX and front-end best practices.
Experience mentoring or guiding team members on UI/UX development approaches.
Pluses:
Experience building and maintaining reusable components within a design system or component library.
Hands-on experience with Figma or similar design/prototyping tools.
Day to Day:
Translate UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes into high-quality, scalable Angular components.
Partner closely with UX designers and product teams to ensure design fidelity and optimal user experience.
Build and maintain reusable UI components aligned to a shared design system.
Ensure interfaces are responsive, accessible, and consistent across devices and user journeys.
Collaborate with backend and application teams to integrate APIs and deliver seamless end-to-end experiences.
Contribute to UI architecture, performance optimization, and front-end best practices.
Advocate for user-centered design decisions and continuously improve usability across applications.
Mentor team members and help elevate UX engineering standards across the team.
Compensation:
$54/hr to $72/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
