Solution Architect / Oracle Fusion HCM + Databricks / Charlotte, NC 28202 (Hybrid) in office 2 days per week.

Our client is a forward-thinking organization undergoing a large-scale transformation of its Human Capital Management (HCM) and enterprise data platforms. Based out of Charlotte, NC, they are looking to hire a Solution Architect on a contract basis. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the future of a modern HCM ecosystem by driving architecture decisions across Oracle Fusion HCM and cloud-based data platforms.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing scalable, enterprise-grade solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams across cloud, security, and product. This position offers strong exposure to cutting-edge technologies like Databricks and Azure, along with the ability to influence long-term technical strategy. Contract Duration
: 6+ Months

• Deep expertise with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM (configurations, role-based security, HDL, OTBI/BIP, HCM Extract, Payroll Flows, Fast Formulas)
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle ATP/ADW, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Strong background in PL/SQL, REST APIs, ETL concepts, event‑driven architecture, CI/CD, and version control
• Experience designing scalable integration solutions across hybrid environments
• Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities

• Experience with Azure cloud services (certifications preferred)
• Exposure to Databricks, Kafka, Informatica IDMC, or similar data platforms
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, and test automation
• Familiarity with Git Hub, LeanIX
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, security, and cloud best practices
• Support and troubleshoot high‑severity production issues as needed
