Red Team Cyber Security Researcher – Charlotte, NC (Open to Remote). Contract position, $61.69/hr – $69.51/hr.

We are a well‑known Financial Services Company seeking a Specialty Software Engineer with a focus on cyber security research. This long‑term contract opportunity includes a competitive benefit package.

6+ months.

• 4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience or equivalent.
• 2+ years of AI Cyber Security Research experience.
• 2+ years of experience in creating proof‑of‑concepts, exploits, or reverse engineering.
• 3+ years of converged testing (red team testing).
• 3+ years of presenting complex technical topics to diverse stakeholders.
• 3+ years of writing technical reports explaining attack chains and cyber‑security vulnerabilities and their impact.

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Specialty Software Engineering.

• Contribute to resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client personnel.
