10 is currently seeking a Senior Release Manager
- Active Directory for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX, Pennington, NJ, and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
The Senior Release Manager is responsible for governing and coordinating the release lifecycle of privileged access and secrets management platforms across enterprise infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments. This role acts as the control point between security, infrastructure, application teams, and risk/compliance, ensuring remediation activities are properly planned, tested, approved, and released. This position has a hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:- Own and govern the release lifecycle for Identity and Active Directory platforms, including on-prem, Azure, Entra, GCP, AWS, and cloud native directory services
- Track and manage the end to end lifecycle of remediation activities related to security vulnerabilities, audit findings, risk acceptances/exceptions, and non-permitted or unauthorized technologies
- Coordinate release planning, sequencing, and execution across infrastructure, application, Dev Ops, and security teams
- Ensure remediation releases meet change management, security, and compliance standards, including documentation, approvals, testing evidence, and rollback plans
- Act as a liaison between Security Architecture, IAM Engineering, Vulnerability Management, Risk, Audit, and Technology Operations
- Define and maintain release governance artifacts, including release calendars, dependency maps, risk assessments, and go live criteria
- Provide executive level reporting on remediation progress, release risk, aging findings, and compliance status
- Identify release risks early and drive mitigation strategies to prevent control gaps or delayed remediation
- Continuously improve release processes, tooling, and metrics to support scalable and secure adoption of vaulting technologies
- Senior level experience (8+ years) in Release Management, Change Management, or Technology Risk Delivery within large enterprises
- Hands on knowledge of Identity and Secrets Vaulting technologies, including Active Directory and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management, remediation workflows, and security risk concepts
- Proven experience managing releases tied to audit findings, regulatory issues, and risk remediation
- Deep knowledge of enterprise change management frameworks (ITIL, SDLC, Agile/Dev Sec Ops )
- Expertise in automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Power Shell, Bash)
- Ability to manage complex, cross functional dependencies and influence without direct authority
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive level presentations
- Experience producing metrics, dashboards, and status reporting for senior leadership
Skills:
- Experience working in financial services, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries
- Familiarity with GRC tools, vulnerability scanners, and issue tracking platforms (e.g., Service Now, Jira, Archer)
- Understanding of zero trust, privileged access management (PAM), and secrets management patterns
- Experience supporting cloud migration or hybrid cloud security programs
- Exposure to Dev Sec Ops pipelines and automated secrets injection
- Certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, PMP, or cloud security certifications
- Demonstrated ability to build and mature release governance models for security platforms
Pay range: $78.04 - $86.04 per hour
