Provide support for all Information Technology (IT) systems to include but not limited to servers, computers, copiers/printers, office phones, projectors, mobile phones/tablets, software, databases, and network components. Perform network administration, ensuring reliable and dependent network connectivity for the entire organization including remote locations. Provide day-to-day IT support for all users within the organization as well as maintenance of all IT equipment.
Assist with day-to-day oversight of IT vendors (e.g., IT Help Desk, Telecommunications, Copier/Printer, etc.).
Assist with the management and maintenance of information technology infrastructure to enable HCRs mission and operation. Support the IT Manager who is accountable for the following:
- Ensure consistent and reliable network access across our ~11 metro Charlotte locations
- Oversee domain server maintenance (e.g., create new employees in Active Directory, share network files, manage groups and policies in Windows server, maintain virtual server instances, antivirus updates, windows updates)
- Create and oversee all IT security policies and educate Habitat staff on IT security-related issues
- Ensure the security of data from internal and external attacks or other forms of inappropriate access
- Implement and oversee data backup and recovery policies and procedures
- Provide secure access to IT resources for remote users
- Oversee updates and maintenance of software systems
- Handle new hardware setup and connections to network
- Manage local phone system including setup of new users, system troubleshooting, etc.
- Maintain data cabling, ports, switches and other IT infrastructure
- Point of Sale hardware/software troubleshooting and maintenance
- Maintain lifecycle replacement of IT resources
Support IT Manager in management of IT vendor relationships to optimize performance, cost, and risk, to include but not limited to:
- Work Smart - IT help-desk function, supporting approximately 170 employees with IT-related issues
- Microsoft
- Oversee email and web account contracts - Spectrum Internet service
- Telware One Cloud phone infrastructure, cabling, audiovisual
- Business mobile phone/tablet maintenance on IOS platform, deployments and contract oversight
- Copier/printer support
Influence and implement new technology solutions
- Provide advisory and subject matter input
- Work with vendors and project manage certain aspects of new technology solutions
- Provide users with appropriate training, support and advice on IT systems and software
Manage crisis situations which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems with ability to contract with outside vendors when needed
Take responsibility for professional development necessary to stay up-to-date on relevant technology advancements
Qualifications- Strong Customer Service and Communication Skills required
- Training and Experience with Microsoft products required
- 4+ years of professional IT support experience required
- Network+, Security+, A+ Certifications preferred
- Experience with Hyper V, Office 365, Ubiquiti, SonicWALL preferred
- Excellent organizational skill and ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of attention to detail
- Must possess motivation, initiative, self-direction, and personal integrity
- Demonstrated ability to follow through with tasks and responsibilities
