ServiceNow Platform Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Development, enhancement, and administration across the Service Now platform.
• Support platform security, access controls, compliance requirements, and secure configuration practices.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate options, and recommend technical solutions.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, technical designs, and platform enhancements.
• Build, configure, and maintain Service Now applications, workflows, integrations, and platform capabilities.
• Develop and troubleshoot Service Now scripts, business rules, client scripts, Flow Designer workflows, and platform configurations.
• Build and maintain secure integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, Scripted APIs, Data Streams, and Spokes.
• Ensure solutions align with platform stability, performance, security, and governance standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and identify opportunities for platform improvement and automation.
• Collaborate with platform administrators, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

• Experience developing solutions across multiple Service Now modules and platform capabilities.
• Experience building and maintaining Service Now integrations and APIs.
• Experience gathering requirements, solutioning, and recommending technical approaches.
• Experience with Service Now platform security, ACLs, RBAC, and compliance considerations.
• Experience supporting large, mature Service Now environments in the tens of thousands of users, where scale drives integration and security complexity.
• Ability to clearly explain personal contributions to Service Now projects, implementations, and enhancements.

• Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• Certified Implementation Specialist certification (ITSM, HAM/SAM, ITOM, or similar).
• Experience with Service Now CMDB, Discovery, or Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• Experience working in regulated enterprise environments such as financial services, insurance, etc.

Must currently live within daily commuting distance of uptown Charlotte.

Onsite 3 days per week (candidates may choose which 3 days).

Relocation or fully remote will not be considered.
