Senior Dev Ops Engineer with 7+ years of experience in containerization and cloud-native platform engineering, responsible for designing and managing Docker, Kubernetes, and Open Shift-based platforms while modernizing Java, .NET, Python, and database applications across hybrid environments, enabling scalable, secure, and automated application delivery.
Responsibilities- Design and implement containerization strategies using Docker and Open Container standards
- Build, manage, and optimize Kubernetes/Open Shift clusters
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for container build, scan, and deployment (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Harness)
- Integrate Bitbucket repositories with CI/CD pipelines and implement branch-based deployment workflows
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Integrate container image scanning and security controls
- Manage container registries (Artifactory)
- Monitor and troubleshoot containerized applications
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of container platforms
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Git Hub Copilot or similar)
- Partner with application teams to containerize and modernize workloads running on Web Sphere, JBoss, Tomcat, IIS, and other legacy platforms for deployment on standardized Dev Ops platforms
- Experience with Datical for database change automation
- Experience with Splunk query creation / dashboards
