The Digital Content Coordinator is a temporary, hands‑on role focused on executing a critical website consolidation and content migration project within Word Press. The candidate will audit, migrate, format, and restructure digital content from multiple platforms into a unified web ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Execute website migration: migrate pages, posts, and media from legacy sites into the primary Word Press environment, building and formatting pages with modern templates, blocks, or patterns per brand guidelines.
- Audit and restructure content: review existing web content for accuracy, relevance, and redundancy; configure redirects, archive outdated material, and consolidate overlapping documentation.
- Perform quality assurance and UX alignment: proofread, format during migration, ensure readability, clean typography, seamless UX, and verify internal/external hyperlinks.
- Ensure digital accessibility: verify migrated pages and assets meet web standards, WCAG 2.1 guidelines, proper heading hierarchies, alt text, etc.
- Apply basic on‑page SEO: configure meta titles, descriptions, maintain clean URL structures.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Marketing or communications experience preferred.
- Practical experience managing content or building pages in Word Press.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and editorial skills with high attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of web accessibility principles (WCAG 2.1) and user‑centric design.
- Ability to work independently on repetitive technical tasks while maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating progress and handoffs.
Temporary staff employees are ineligible to receive standard benefits (leave, health coverage, State service credit, etc.) but are covered by Worker’s Compensation. Temporary employees working 30 or more hours per week for three months or more are eligible to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan within 30 days of eligibility, regardless of salary‑based classification.
