MAC Server Administration

Job Description

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
• Typically requires 5+ years of experience.
• Proven experience as Server Administrator.
• Proficient in Server configuration and scripting.
• Knowledge of Workspace One, Tanium, Jamf and other server access & security profile configuration.
• Extensive experience with MacOS Servers & knowledge of Server Virtualization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.

• Manage Mac Server administration tasks and maintain servers up to date in compliance with Security Controls and compliance.
• Hands‑on managing MacOS Servers and their patching schedules in a Data Center Environment.
• Solid understanding of Server Administration concepts.
• Familiar with MacOS Server scripting and automation of software patch installations and security software updates.
• Collaborate with the Mac Support Team to understand Server Management plan in a DC.
• Ensure servers are running up to security software and OS standards.
• Solid knowledge of DHCP, Server IP configuration and ability to resolve network identification/IP conflicts.
• Knowledge of Managed OS and software packaging and installation.
