Position: Scrum Master (Kanban / Agile Delivery)
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Onsite)
Role OverviewWe are seeking a Kanban Scrum Master responsible for guiding Agile teams in applying Scrum principles, removing barriers to progress, and enabling continuous improvement. This role partners closely with Process Owners, cross‑functional teams, and leadership to define and ensure the delivery of products that meet business value objectives. The Scrum Master serves as a servant‑leader, coach, and facilitator to help teams work efficiently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate all Kanban ceremonies and ensure the team maintains a healthy product backlog and definition of done.
- Coach the team to adopt Agile values, mindset, and principles, supporting members in understanding their roles and working collaboratively.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Identify and remove obstacles that hinder team progress, escalating issues when appropriate while protecting the team’s focus.
- Track progress, monitor delivery metrics, and ensure timely and predictable delivery of deliverables.
- Partner with Product Owners and Process Owners to refine and prioritize the backlog.
- Facilitate clear communication between the team and stakeholders.
- Introduce and support Agile best practices and encourage experimentation through data‑driven decisions.
2–5+ years of experience in Agile or Scrum roles with a background working with cross‑functional software or business teams.
Technical Skills- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Experience with JIRA and other Agile project management tools.
- General understanding of the product development lifecycle.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
- Ability to coach teams and individuals at varying levels of Agile maturity.
- Demonstrated conflict‑resolution and problem‑solving skills.
- Servant‑leadership mindset with empathy and emotional intelligence.
- Ability to influence without authority and navigate organizational challenges.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II)
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
- Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC)
