Own the end-to-end target-state architecture for modernizing legacy Hogan core banking systems to Visa Pismo platform. Lead the design of integration layers, APIs, and event-driven architecture while ensuring high performance, security, and regulatory compliance in a real-time payments environment.
Define and own solution architecture across Pismo core banking, payments, and corporate DDA modules
Design and implement strangler pattern for phased migration from Hogan to Pismo
Architect anti-corruption layers and dual-write integration strategies
Define API contracts, event schemas, and integration standards
Ensure non-functional requirements: ≤ 50ms latency (Fed Now / real-time payments) 99.99% availability Security compliance (FIPS-140, regulatory controls)
Leverage event-driven architecture (Kafka/MSK, CQRS, event sourcing)
Lead architecture governance, design reviews, and decision-making
Collaborate with engineering, SRE, and business teams for solution alignment
Drive secure-by-design and regulatory-grade engineering practices
10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture (Banking/Payments)
Strong experience with:
Core banking platforms (Pismo / Hogan / Thought Machine / Mambu)
Expertise in:
Microservices & API architecture Event-driven systems (Kafka, CQRS, event sourcing) ISO 20022 payments messaging AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification
Proven experience in core banking modernization / migration programs
Strong understanding of security, compliance, and high-availability systems
Other Requirements Pismo platform certification Experience with strangler-pattern implementations Knowledge of parallel-run, cutover, and migration strategies Exposure to real-time payments (Fed Now / RTP)
Maximum Salary (US): 172000 Minimum Salary (US): 117000
