Job Description

The Senior Cloud Solutions Architect is a highly skilled technical expert responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role partners closely with engineering, data, and platform teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures aligned with business and technical objectives. The Senior Architect provides hands‑on technical leadership, contributes to architectural standards, and supports modernization initiatives across application and data platforms.

Job Duties
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure for application and data workloads
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate business and technical requirements into effective cloud solutions
  • Contribute to cloud architecture standards, best practices, and reusable design patterns
  • Support cloud modernization initiatives, including migrations and containerization of applications
  • Build and optimize Kubernetes-based and cloud-native platforms
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and automation tools
  • Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub
  • Design and support data pipelines and analytics solutions (e.g., Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory)
  • Ensure performance, scalability, cost optimization, and security across cloud environments
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to maintain system health
  • Participate in incident response and troubleshooting for production systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with architecture and security standards
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform, or systems engineering roles.
  • Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure services, including compute, networking, storage, and security
  • Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads
  • Experience with Azure Databricks, Spark, or data engineering workloads
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform preferred)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub)
  • Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and production support
  • Solid understanding of cloud security and best practices
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
