As a Test Lead specializing in API/Webservices Testing, SDET, and Selenium, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of testers to ensure the quality of API/Webservices and applications developed. Your primary objective will be to create and execute testing strategies, automate test cases using Selenium, and provide technical guidance to the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the api/web services testing efforts within the project team
  • Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for api/web services
  • Automate test cases using selenium and other relevant tools
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure the quality of code and applications
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues in api/web services functionality
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and provide testing status updates
    • Skill Requirements
  • Strong experience in api/web services testing methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency in automation testing using selenium
  • In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle (sdlc) and testing processes
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of testers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Familiarity with tools like postman, soapui, jmeter for api testing
  • Experience with ci/cd pipelines and version control systems
    • Certifications

    Relevant certifications in API testing, Selenium, or SDET would be a plus
