Merchant Systems Analyst

UNC Charlotte is hiring a Merchant Systems Analyst to serve as the subject matter expert and lead technical consultant for the university's payment card acceptance and merchant system solutions. This role involves managing payment card operations, implementing compliant solutions, coordinating third-party integrations, and providing training and support to campus merchants and staff.

• Serve as technical consultant and subject matter expert on university payment card acceptance solutions and PCI standards.
• Manage all payment card operations including POS terminals, online storefronts, and third-party integrations.
• Oversee user access, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure PCI compliance and security.
• Lead integration projects with acquiring banks, payment gateways, third-party providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver training on payment systems for campus merchants and staff.
• Conduct data analysis and assist with merchant reporting and system improvements.
• Required skills include knowledge of Fiserv, Touch Net, Bluefin, Clover, Braintree, Banner, Web Focus, Excel, and Google applications.
• Must have a bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred certifications include PCIP, PCI ISA, or PCI QSA.
• The job offers a salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 annually.
