Job Description We are seeking an IT Business Analyst III / Product Owner
- Technical Analyst to join our dynamic Financial Center Applications team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile product delivery, backlog management, and requirements analysis, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features that improve client experiences. Responsibilities:
Coordinate and facilitate ART ceremonies including Backlog Refinement, Program Increment (PI) Planning, ART Sync/PO Sync/Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Retrospectives. Partner with the Portfolio Manager to maintain a healthy and prioritized product/program backlog. Facilitate dependency and risk management and remove impediments for the ART to support timely delivery. Promote effective communication and collaboration within the ART to achieve PI commitments and value delivery.
Provide clear status updates and reporting on plans, timelines, delivery, and impediments to stakeholders and leadership. Ensure adherence to Enterprise Change Management and related policy requirements for all delivered epics/features. Measure ART delivery, maturity, and performance and review metrics to identify and drive improvements. Capture and analyze data to inform product funding and resource acquisition needs. Support JIRA reporting and Team Confluence management across the ART.
Elicit, capture, and refine business and system requirements to meet business goals. Translate between business needs and technical solutions to align stakeholders and delivery teams. Decompose epics into user stories, define acceptance criteria, prioritize work, and perform ongoing backlog refinement with the team. Ensure stories meet the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done prior to acceptance. Use techniques such as process flows, context diagrams, and use cases to author epics and stories.
Collaborate with Product Managers, stakeholders, and Delivery Leads to ensure alignment and priority clarity. Remove team impediments and participate in team and Train routines as required. Support deployment activities including CRQ approval routines and ensure quality standards are met. Maximize value delivery and support production validation during deployments. Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Proficiency with Agile tools, specifically Jira, and collaboration in Confluence. Strong skills in backlog management, user story writing, and acceptance criteria definition. Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies within a SAFe ART or similar scaled environment. Competence in Microsoft Office for reporting and stakeholder communication. Ability to manage dependencies, risks, and impediments to protect delivery timelines. Preferred
Skills:
Experience in Financial Services or client-facing financial center applications. Background with quarterly integrated development cycles and monthly release management. Work Arrangement & Interview Process Hybrid schedule. Onsite a minimum of 3 days per week starting day 1 in Charlotte, NC. Interview process includes 1-2 rounds. In-person and video required.
