Position

Summary

The Practice Innovation Workflow Coordinator will report directly to the Senior Manager of Practice Innovation and work closely with IS leadership to support the firm’s adoption and operationalization of its Legaltech and innovation portfolio. This individual will provide hands‑on support for the implementation and maintenance of complex legal workflows, focusing on executing data migrations, ensuring data integrity, configuring, maintaining, and updating structured review sets, prompt libraries and automated workflows, helping to ensure that technology enhances legal service delivery, operational efficiency, and client value directly in line with the firm and Information Services department strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Perform hands‑on data management, ensuring accurate and complete transfer, cataloguing and storage of information across relevant systems within legal technology workflows.
  • Reconcile and validate data sets to maintain consistency and reliability across relevant systems within legal technology workflows.
  • Execute data exports, clean‑ups, and transformations as required for workflow implementations.
  • Troubleshoot issues, identify data discrepancies and propose solutions across relevant systems within legal technology workflows.
  • Develop and track metrics relevant to data management and storage across relevant systems within legal technology workflows, to support leadership awareness of data‑related activities within and across these systems.
Experience, Skills, And Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in legal technology, innovation, or legal operations within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Must live within a commutable distance to the applicable firm office with the ability to come into the office 3‑4 days per week.
  • Understanding of the legal technology landscape and best practices, including AI, automation, and workflow tools and services.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience with vendor relationships, particularly liaising with technical support.
  • Experience with data governance, data science, and business intelligence.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of security best practices.
  • Familiarity with the Legal Technology/AI landscape.
  • Experience in an AmLaw 50 or global law firm environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and design thinking principles preferred.
  • Proven experience with Legaltech or content management technologies (preferably AI‑driven), organizing data/documents, custom access controls, search/filters parameters, querying (keyword, semantic, prompt‑based, etc.), and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Demonstrated success in data exports/imports and reconciliation, knowledge of data formats and transformation techniques, data cleanup and reporting.
