DevOps Engineer

About the Role

As a Dev Ops Engineer at PMMC, you will serve as a critical bridge between our development and network operations teams, ensuring that our applications are deployed smoothly, reliably, and securely. In this role, you will independently design, implement, maintain, and monitor systems related to software delivery, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines. You will contribute to projects that are modernizing legacy applications and be critical to help deliver highly available and scalable solutions across our platform.

• Design, implement and maintain scalable, cost-effective, performant Microsoft Azure infrastructure
• Develop, own, and monitor CI/CD pipelines across environments and application suite
• Implement and configure monitoring, logging and alerting solutions surrounding cloud and pipeline infrastructure
• Automate tasks and processes that are repetitive and cumbersome to enhance efficiency
• Lead incident responses and post-incident follow-ups to instill continuous improvements for our internal teams and end users
• Proactively create custom metrics, alerts and dashboards to allow leadership and others to monitor and understand system health & performance
• Ensure best practices are followed for cost effectiveness and ease of use organizationally
• Collaborate with the development and product teams to ensure requirements and compliance
• Own the deliverables required to migrate and deploy solutions for client use
• Support any additional operational projects and responsibilities as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Three to five years of hands‑on experience in Dev Ops in an Azure environment or similar cloud infrastructure role
• Strong experience operating within cloud environments (Azure), Microsoft Dev Ops and related technologies
• Preferred certification in AZ-400:
  Dev Ops Engineer Expert or willing to obtain
• Proficient in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in writing code, using version control and the software development lifecycle
  
  Someone who can translate product & business needs into scalable technical platforms
• A problem solver who is proactive in making improvements and addressing vulnerabilities
• Solid understanding of networking and security best practices
