Location:
Charlotte, NC
Experience:
10–15 years
Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 per year
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills- Expertise in IBM Data Stage version 11.5 or above, Teradata, DB2, Unix and SQL.
- Proficiency in SQL or another relevant language.
- Ability to work independently on ETL development projects, including design and implementation.
- Collaborate with team members to implement best practices for job development, testing, and deployment; identify improvements and automation opportunities for internal processes.
- Author and maintain internal documentation.
- Adapt quickly to change and adjust work in a positive manner.
- Experience with Teradata implementation using IBM Cloud Pak is a plus.
- Work with architects, developers, offshore teams, business and technology stakeholders in a complex environment across different geographic locations.
- Champion pragmatic, strategic technology alternatives that deliver short‑term results while contributing to long‑term strategic direction.
- Experience in Waterfall and/or Agile Methodologies.
- Self‑motivated individual contributor, understanding stakeholder expectations and objectives.
- Participate in, and where appropriate, host calls independently with onshore technology teams.
- Understand requirement specifications and develop the code.
- Participate in requirement gathering meetings and proactively clarify doubts.
- Suggest technical solutions.
- Develop ETL batch flows using Data Stage.
- Involved in unit testing, component integration testing, system integration testing, and implementation.
- Proactively track tasks to closure.
- Own the assigned tasks and keep all stakeholders informed about status.
- Support code install releases and post‑deployment control phase.
B.Tech in Computer Science or higher, or an equivalent educational background.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Bachelor of Computer Science.
