Job Description
The role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining Hadoop infrastructure and ensuring the quality and integrity of Teradata data processes. Candidates will provide technical leadership, troubleshoot critical issues, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet business data needs.
Technical Skills- Strong understanding of Hadoop architecture and components (HDFS, YARN, Map Reduce, etc.)
- Experience with Teradata databases and ETL tools
- Familiarity with SQL and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with data modeling and data quality tools
- Monitor and maintain Hadoop infrastructure (HDFS, YARN, Map Reduce, etc.)
- Troubleshoot Hadoop‑related issues, including performance bottlenecks and data ingestion problems
- Develop and maintain documentation and procedures for Hadoop operations
- Assist with data migration and integration into Hadoop
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Teradata databases and ETL processes
- Ensure data quality and accuracy within Teradata systems
- Assist with data validation and reporting
- Collaborate with data analysts and other teams to understand data requirements and provide solutions
- Coordination with offshore teams
- Bachelor of Computer Science
- 10–15 years of experience

Salary Range: $110,000–$120,000 per year
