Workday HCM Functional Analyst

Duration: 6 months contract, not looking to extend
Pay Rate: $62.56/hr
Location:
1525 W W.T. Harris Blvd, Charlotte, NC 2826 – Hybrid role
This position will be on the Core HCM Workday product team. The analyst will partner with business and product stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, assist with development, and complete UAT testing prior to release. Excellent communication is required as the analyst will work closely with executive‑level employees and the product team.
Responsibilities• Gather and refine functional requirements with stakeholders.
• Configure Workday HCM solutions to meet business needs.
• Support testing activities, including UAT and regression testing.
• Communicate progress and risk to executive‑level stakeholders.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience supporting Workday HCM in an analyst or lead role
- Strong experience gathering requirements, configuring solutions, and supporting testing
- Deep understanding of Workday Business Process Framework
- Experience with additional HCM modules (Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time)
- Experience supporting or partnering on Workday integrations
- Prior Workday certification
- Experience supporting Workday tenants in large, complex organizations
- Major medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits for temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer
