Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in Oracle, MongoDB, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will have 5‑7 years of DBA experience and a strong background in database administration, focused on ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of our database systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage, monitor, and maintain Oracle and MongoDB/SQL Server/PostgreSQL databases to ensure high availability and performance.
- Configure and optimize database parameters in accordance with best practices.
- Design and implement comprehensive backup and recovery strategies for all supported platforms.
- Conduct regular disaster‑recovery drills to validate backup effectiveness.
- Implement stringent security measures to protect sensitive data across all database platforms; manage user access, roles, and permissions.
- Analyze and optimize database queries, indexing, and overall performance; monitor performance metrics and address bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with application development teams to support database‑related application needs; assist in schema design, data modeling, and database migrations.
- Maintain thorough documentation of database configurations, procedures, and policies; generate reports on performance, security, and compliance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5–7 years of DBA experience with Oracle, MongoDB, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.

Skills:
Proficiency in Oracle database management (including RAC and Data Guard), MongoDB/SQL Server/PostgreSQL deployment and management tools, database monitoring tools, and cloud‑based database administration (Azure or Amazon AWS). Familiarity with agility tools such as Version One and Service Now, monitoring tools such as Datadog, ITIL practices, and scripting in Python and Power Shell. - Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; excellent communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders.

- Base compensation range: $98,100.00 – $ annually, based on experience and qualifications.
