The eDiscovery Analyst is responsible for managing and executing day-to-day electronic discovery (eDiscovery) project tasks while overseeing multiple projects throughout the eDiscovery lifecycle. This role will collaborate closely with case teams to manage certain aspects of the eDiscovery process, including but not limited to, collection, processing, and production of electronically stored information. Our ideal candidate will have at least five years of relevant experience handling eDiscovery or working as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant.

The eDiscovery Analyst is an exempt position and will work hybrid from any of the following offices:
Akron, Columbus or Toledo, Ohio;
Sarasota, St. Petersburg or Tampa, Florida;
Minneapolis, Minnesota;
Charlotte, North Carolina; or Charleston, South Carolina.
- Assist with the organization, maintenance, and quality control of discovery data and case records; ensure information is accurately entered, categorized, and maintained to support efficient document review, production, and trial preparation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and adherence to established protocols, while consulting with practice teams to identify and implement best practices for the identification, preservation, collection, analysis, processing, review and presentation of paper and electronic discovery materials
- Act as an internal litigation support consultant and provide direct support to attorneys and legal support staff to develop, implement, and support efficient, cost-effective discovery processes, case automation systems, and practice support applications
- Utilize eDiscovery software and AI tools under the guidance of experienced professionals
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Relativity work spaces and case-specific databases; process, validate, and prepare data and load files; and support the organization, retrieval, review, and production of electronically stored information (ESI) throughout discovery, litigation, and trial preparation
- Stay current on the rapidly changing technology developments relating to litigation support
- Minimum of high school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
- At least 3 years of experience working as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant preferred
- Familiarity with Relativity or other eDiscovery platforms
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference model (EDRM) and all phases of discovery
- Proficient in using Notepad++ and Microsoft Excel, with a strong emphasis on managing and manipulating data files.
- Project and case management skills, including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines with a high attention to detail
- Superior research, organizational and verbal and written communication skills
- Availability for off-hours monitoring of emails and phone calls when necessary, including weekends
- Sitting position, static for up to one-half hour at a time, up to six hours per day.
- Standing and walking regularly, up to two hours per day.
- Lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds occasionally.
- Bends and stoops occasionally, up to one-half hour per day.
