A little about this gigWe’re hiring a hands‑on Network & Security Engineer to support the day‑to‑day operations and rollout of global network infrastructure. This role focuses on physical deployment, troubleshooting, and operational support while partnering with senior engineers on core network and security initiatives.
What you’ll be doing :- Install, deploy, and maintain network and security infrastructure across locations
- Perform racking, stacking, cabling, and hardware lifecycle activities
- Support configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network devices, firewalls, and wireless
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and connectivity issues
- Assist with upgrades, maintenance windows, and network changes (testing/validation)
- Maintain documentation, diagrams, and runbooks
- Support audits, compliance, and major incident response
- Participate in on‑call rotation
- CCNA or equivalent hands‑on networking experience
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing/switching, DNS, DHCP, OSPF/BGP basics
- Experience with physical network deployment (cabling, patching, installs)
- Familiarity with Cisco, Meraki, and enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto preferred)
- Proven troubleshooting skills and experience with tools like Wireshark
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Team‑oriented and eager to learn
- WAN technologies (MPLS, DIA, SD‑WAN)
- Monitoring tools (e.g., Logic Monitor)
- Understanding of Zero Trust / network security best practices
- Exposure to automation or scripting
- Hands‑on role working with modern global infrastructure
- Strong mentorship from senior engineers
- Mix of operational support and project work
- Exposure to networking, security, and cloud technologies
