Brightspeed is reimagining high-speed internet connectivity, focusing on fiber optic upgrades in underserved markets across the Midwest and South.

Develop AI and ML solutions to drive improved business performance and efficiency across domains within the Finance, Strategy & Transformation team.

• Lead end-to-end AI/ML projects from business needs to deployment and monitoring.
• Solve complex business problems using analytical and quantitative approaches.
• Integrate and curates data from internal and external sources for predictive modeling.
• Define best practices for reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
• Create models for visual recognition and natural language processing.
• Identify optimal model architecture and parameters.
• Liaise with stakeholders to provide actionable insights.
• Build partnerships and deliver predictive insights highlighting risks and opportunities.

• 5+ years building AI/ML models for business applications.
• 3+ years hands‑on experience training, fine‑tuning, evaluating, and deploying models in production.
• 3+ years experience with data lake and cloud services (preferably GCP).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (Master’s strongly preferred).
• Data Science or AI certifications.

• Deep expertise in machine learning, neural networks, computer vision, LLMs, NLP, or similar.
• Experience in algorithm selection, model training, feature engineering, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Python and key libraries (Pandas, Num Py, Scikit‑learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.

• Expertise in Agile methodology.
• Experience using Data Science and AI for business optimization.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous problems with critical thinking.
• Excellent quantitative and data‑driven decision‑making skills.

• Ability to clearly articulate insights verbally and in writing.
• Effectively communicate technical and non‑technical information to all levels.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple priorities.

• Relevant Telecom experience.
• 2+ years experience with AI agents and orchestration.
