Application architect, IT​/Tech, IT Consultant

10 is currently seeking an Application Architect for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for translating business strategy, regulatory requirements, and operational needs into scalable technology solutions. The ideal candidate will partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineers to define solution direction and ensure successful implementation across Capital Markets, Treasury, Funding, Liquidity, and Regulatory platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Drive end-to-end solution architecture and requirements discovery for strategic initiatives
• Evaluate current-state processes and systems, define future-state capabilities, document solution designs, manage dependencies, and support delivery teams through implementation and testing
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, engineers, and delivery teams to define solution direction and create target-state designs
• Quickly understand complex business processes and connect business needs to technical solutions
• Proactively identify risks and dependencies
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and drive consensus

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Application Architecture, Application Development or Business Analytics
• 5+ years of experience working with clients or stakeholder groups to solve problems and design solutions
• Experience delivering solutions for Capital Markets
• Experience working in an agile software development team
• Python or SQL scripting experience

Desired skills:

• CFA or FRM certification
• Quartz or other trading applications experience

Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24 per hour
