Master Data Management Lead; Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and lead the design of scalable MDM solutions that meet multiple business needs.
• Guide and lead developers with logical and physical MDM data models.
• Ensure MDM solutions meet demands across multiple domains.
• Build data quality processes that embed with different phases of the MDM domain lifecycle management.
• Implement MDM golden records, edge‑condition traceability, and capturing matching and survivorship rules.
• Build task‑management workflows.
• Recommend and design data‑enriching processes.
• Work with multiple data owners and stewards on data curation and task‑management business processes.
• Guide analysts to build business‑requirement documents and other MDM artifacts for multiple implementations.
• Guide development teams with best practices for MDM data inbound and outbound needs.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Lead and Architecture teams to ensure alignment with technology and data architecture.
• Balance workload across projects and guide governance‑process owners and business owners.
• Conduct technical reviews of data pipelines to ensure quality of information delivery.
• Mentor and coach junior team members on data management best practices.
• Support production environments and build mature SOP and KB‑article processes.
• Investigate problems to root cause and champion corrective actions.
• Build training programs for business and development onboarding processes.
• Support leadership with KPI metrics on MDM.

• Typically requires a university degree and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Deep understanding of master data management, data governance, and associated technologies.
• Proven experience in establishing and operationalizing data management capabilities.
• Understanding of data governance and its relation to successful MDM.
• Understanding of audit and security compliance needs.
• Experience working in a multi‑year business transformation program.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while balancing priorities and schedules from program leadership.
• Experience and proficiency with project performance measurement, tracking methods, and tools.
• Ability to navigate a matrix and clustered environment and build bridges to support business needs.

• Experience with multiple ERP systems such as SAP S/4
  
  HANA, JDE, and others.
• Capability to switch between classic waterfall and agile PMO approaches.
• Experience with MDM tools such as SAP MDG, Chain Sys, Informatica, and others.
• Experience with ETL/ELT/API‑based integration patterns for data services.
• Experience working with high‑security environments dealing with ITAR, DOD, federal and local compliance needs.
