Senior AI Data Analytics & Automation Lead - Onsite

10 is currently seeking a Senior AI Data Analytics & Automation Lead for an onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Data Analytics and AI Automation professional to rapidly translate business requirements into actionable insights, automated reporting solutions, and AI-powered productivity tools. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in Power BI, Excel, Python, and data engineering with a strong understanding of Generative AI and workflow automation to build scalable solutions and drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI
• Create scalable KPI, operational, and management reporting frameworks
• Transform complex business data into actionable insights and compelling visualizations
• Develop advanced Excel-based analytical models, reporting tools, and automation solutions
• Build Python-based automation solutions for reporting, reconciliation, data transformation, and workflow optimization
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from multiple enterprise systems
• Automate recurring reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve data quality
• Identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies to improve business processes
• Build AI-powered assistants, automation workflows, and decision-support tools
• Develop solutions using LLMs, prompt engineering techniques, vector databases, and RAG architectures
• Engage directly with senior leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into data and AI solutions
• Present findings, recommendations, and solution roadmaps to executive audiences
• Act as a trusted advisor on analytics, reporting, automation, and AI best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or related field
• 5 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data engineering, or automation
• 5 years of Systems Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• Expert-level Power BI development experience, including DAX, Data modeling, Power Query, and dashboard design and performance optimization
• Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, Pivot Tables, and financial and operational modeling
• Strong Python programming experience for data processing, automation, API integrations, analytics, and workflow orchestration
• Experience working with SQL and enterprise data platforms

Desired skills:

• VBA/Macros experience
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI platforms and LLMs
• Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Lang Chain, Lang Graph, CrewAI, Auto Gen, Semantic Kernel, or Google ADK
• Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, prompt engineering, AI governance, and AI evaluation frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Experience implementing intelligent automation solutions in financial services, operations, or large enterprise environments

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
