Oracle PL​/SQL Developer - Hybrid

10 is currently seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer for a Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and SQL statements in Oracle 19c/21c
• Understand client requirements (stories), create story-level designs, and translate them into deliverables
• Perform performance tuning including optimizing SQL and PL/SQL code
• Maintain re-useable development standards for solutions and enhancements
• Provide code reviews and mentoring across multiple agile teams
• Read code in multiple languages and inspect infrastructure to understand the current state

Requirements:

• 7-15 years of experience developing database utilities using PL/SQL for large databases
• Proven track record in implementing large databases in Oracle
• Strong experience in Oracle packages, procedures, functions, and analytics functions
• Experience contributing to enterprise project deliveries, preferably within a financial institution
• Experience working in an agile environment with the ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements
• Experience with JIRA for story grooming and execution
• Experience migrating to CI/CD with platforms such as Bit Bucket or Artifactory
• Demonstrated experience designing solution approaches for large-scale enterprise systems
• Strong facilitation, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn business processes and apply that knowledge to assigned tasks

Desired skills:

• Experience with object databases and other relational databases
• Experience with Oracle Cloud or Oracle Exadata

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
