Tableau Developer (Contract) – Hybrid | Charlotte, NC

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3-4 days onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Tableau Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about transforming complex data into meaningful, interactive dashboards that support business decision-making.

The ideal candidate has strong Tableau development experience, advanced SQL skills, and the ability to work directly with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver high-quality analytics solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Gather and translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.
• Connect Tableau to multiple enterprise data sources.
• Ensure dashboard accuracy, performance, and usability.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and implement enhancements.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Document reporting solutions and best practices.

• 4+ years of Tableau development experience.
• Strong experience building dashboards, scorecards, and visual analytics.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and gather reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience with Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, or AWS data platforms.
• Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
• Experience in financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, or other enterprise environments.

• Self-motivated professional who can quickly contribute in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality reporting solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative hybrid environment.
